Obituary of Judith Christenson

Judy Ann Christenson, age 67 of Tabor, SD, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on September 24, 2016. On-line condolences may be sent at: www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com. Judy was born March 14, 1949 in Omaha, NE to John Morrison and Maxine Lancaster. She was baptized and confirmed in Plattsmouth, NE and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Yankton, SD. She belonged to the Yankton Antique Auto Club and Tri State Old Iron Association. Judy married Lowell Christenson on June 16, 1984 in Omaha, NE. She was employed at Shur-Co and after a number of years, retired in 2014. Her main enjoyment in life was spending time with her husband and family. Judy is survived by her husband, Lowell Keith Christenson; son, Dean Christenson; daughters: Robin Smith, Cindy Limberg, Susan Bogacz, Tammy Roubideaux, Terri Harold and Sasha Christenson; brother, Charles Morrison; sister, Mila Swanson, mother, Maxine Lancaster; 16 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her father, John Morrison, grandsons, Jesse Rochholz and Garrett Schaffer and mother-in-law, Marie Christenson.
