We will all sorely miss our Elaine who gave so much of her time and energy to
enrich our lives in many ways. I especially enjoyed her leadership in the Murder By the
Book Club over the years, and recall many enjoyable moments with that group.
Rest in Peace, Dear Elaine.

To Elaine's family,
I have lost touch with cousins especially since Mother died in 2005. My memories go to the 50's and 60's when we were young. Grandma Olson was fortunate to have her family close. We had the Olson Picnic and celebrated Mother's Day at her house. Reading her obituary, her accomplishments were many.
My condolences to her sons, grandchildren, and her sisters Helen and Marlene.

The other day the laughter was not heard. Then I saw where one of God's lambs was not longer with us. I was a class mate and friend of Elaines. My last year in high school everything was going wrong. Elaine came to me and we sat all night in the car talking and she was what kept me going. I would not have the life I have today without Elaine. This was not an ordinary person.. She was very special. People like Elaine may come into your life only once. I will miss you Elaine. I will never forget the laughter and the great friendship. I know God will have a very specail place for you in Heaven. Good Bye friend. Jerry

Mrs. Rasmussen was my teacher 6th through the 8th grade at Aten Country School near Crofton, NE in the early 1970's. I remember her well. She was a great teacher and had a great personality, always laughing. I learned many skills from her, some I still use to this day! Rest in peace Mrs. Rasmussen. Go rest high on that mountain...your work on earth is done. Blessings to all of her family especially her boys.

My deepest sympathies to the Rasmussen family. Her Marty Indian School Family referred to her as "Razzle Dazzle." Elaine had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever known. She helped so many students that may have fallen through the cracks without her hanging on to them. My deepest sympathies to her grand children that will never get to know her. Elaine will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss, our loss, and the void she will leave in this world.

Prayers and condolences go out to the Rasmussen family. Always enjoyed visiting with Elaine and catching up on her boys how they were doing and their families. She always had a smile and shine in her eyes when she talked about the grand kids. She always attended the SHS Gala and this year she was sure thought of and missed.

Elaine was a good friend when we worked together at Marty Indian School about 10 years ago. I will always remember her kindness and loving nature, especially towards her students.

To the family if Elaine: I am so sorry for the loss of Elaine. What a shock to read about her passing in the newspaper! Elaine was married to my first cousin Junior Rasmussen. I also went to school at Meckling with Elaine and her siblings. I can hear her laugh as I type this condolence. She was a very nice person and had a good sense of humor. I will miss seeing her and visiting with her. You are in my thoughts. Angie
