I am so sorry for your loss.
I loved coming to your house on Easter as long as I can remember.
I can still here Uncle Roland's laugh in my mind. To me he was such a wonderful Uncle.

Dear Pat & Family,
I was sad to hear of Roland's passing but am glad he is no longer suffering. I remember many happy times after all those tractor pulls and the mountain oyster feeds. I think there are pictures to show how much fun everyone was having!!!

Roly was truly a wonderful husband and father but most of all a true Christian man. He loved and cared for my sister for over 50 years and provided her with a full and complete life. He cherished her and their children and left a great legacy of teaching by example. Roly will be missed by those he left behind but I can only imagine his Big Laugh filling Heaven. We must continue on in this life and look forward to the day we all gather again. Pat and family we love and miss you and hope you find comfort in the days to come by the wonderful memories you have. I had the privilege of getting to know Roland as a child. My father, Jack Morton, always made a point to visit. I remember Roland as being a wonderful, kind man. He will be greatly missed, but now Roland is with our Lord. God's blessing on you all.

So sorry to hear of Roland's passing. I always enjoyed his sense of humor. Roland helped my dad farm one summer when my dad had back problems and could not get out of bed for several weeks while in traction. So Roland was like a big brother to me over the summer and we forged a relationship that lasted a life time. I will always remember Roland as a very helpful and caring person as well as my first cousin.

Uncle Roly was a wonderful man. His example to all that knew him was as a hard-working and caring man that loved his family. His nieces and nephews looked forward to uncle Roly's Easter basket, but Roly knew the real meaning of Easter. I'm going to miss him.
