Betty Huber (Anderson, Rempp) age 83, of Yankton, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Avera Sister James Care Center, Yankton, SD. Urn Bearers are Corey Anderson, Trevor Anderson and Taylor O'Brien.
Betty was born to Frank and Julia Rempp on December 10, 1932 at Rural Mission Hill, South Dakota. Betty attended Kietzman School for 8 years and graduated from Yankton High School in 1950. She married Harry (Eugene) Anderson in 1951 and they were married until he passed away in 1981. She remarried to Marvin Huber in October of 1987, and he passed in 1991. Betty was a charter member of Christ the King Church in Yankton. She worked at Moore's Confectionary, Scott's Dime Store, Rayne's Bakery, the Moose Lodge and retired from Human Services Center in 1993. She loved to play cards, go out for supper, and read books. Betty also loved to bake and was known for her chocolate chip cookies, her amazing cherry cheese cake and homemade buns.
Betty is survived by 4 children; 16 grandchildren; 1 daughter in law, Brian (Ruth) Anderson of Gayville, SD, and kids: Amy, Corey and Kelsey; Steve (Joan) Anderson of Volin, SD, and kids: Trevor and Brittany; Janelle Anderson of Parker, SD, and kids: Tim, Stacie, Tony and Richard. Rick (Lori) Anderson of Yankton, SD, and kids: Nickie, Terra and Brooke; Jeanette (Leonard) Klasi of N. Sioux City, SD, and kids: Shari, Cindy, and David. She is also survived by Tasha (Drew) Brown and Taylor O'Brien of Rapid City, SD, and her 17 great grandchildren and 5 great-greatgrandchildren.
Betty was proceeded in death by 2 husbands, Harry and Marvin; 2 sons, David and Don Anderson; 1 daughter, Brenda (Anderson) O'Brien; 2 brothers, Harvey and Merle Rempp; 3 sisters: Pat (Jake) Slowey, Judy Nielson (survived by Paul Nielson), and Ruth (Don) Jarrett; grand-daughter Tonya Anderson and last, but not least, her special friend, Frank Arneson.
