Dear Edna, Richard, Melvin and family,
I am saddened by Bill's passing. He was a friend all my life, and I would often visit him at Klaudts when I was in Menno. My deepest sympathy to you all.

Uncle Mr. Bill will be greatly missed. I have fond memories of visiting him with my dad in South Dakota as a child and all his visits to Washington as well. I even had a clown he gave me as I child that we named Mr. Bill. He was funny and lovable. Now he is in a better place. My condolences to all our family and those close to him.

Words can't describe the feelings and emotions we have when we lose a loved one. They're hard to find when you want to give your sympathy during this time. And words alone won't bring healing. However, they do bring comfort. They do show that there are people who love you and are hurting with you. Words are the way to express memories and share in the good times we all had with Mr. Bill. It's those memories that will start the healing process. Those good times are how we'll get through the hard times. I wish I could be there with everyone. I wish I could give more than just words. Just know that my sympathy and love are with you along with my prayers. Love you all.

My humble sympathies to all of Bill's family and friends. His passing just makes me sad. I had so enjoyed Bill's and my bantering as he'd fill my gas tank at Klaudt's. I constantly nagged him to quit working and take Pete and just go follow their noses and see the countryside. He was a good pal.

We wish to express our sympathy in the passing of Bill. I (Karen) will always remember him as a guy that was always kind to me when he worked at Klaudt Station and for his having the ball games on the radio to listen to while working. Edna, I knew you the best besides Bill, so my deepest sympathy goes out to you. It is very hard to loose a son. As you know, we've gone through that too. May God's love encircle all of you at this time and always.
