Obituary of Gregory R. Hunt
Gregory Russell Hunt, the son of Tammy Trattles and Verlon Hunt, was born on December 28, 1993 in Sikeston, MO. The family moved to Yankton when Gregory was quite young, and he grew up here and attended Yankton High School.
He was employed at TJ’s and at Stingers in Yankton. He loved football, especially the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family. He absolutely adored his children and the love of his life, Heather. Gregory also wrote music with his brothers. He was very sociable with people and everyone who met him instantly liked him.
Left to cherish his memory are his long-time significant other, Heather Wynn of Yankton; his three daughters, Emma Hunt, Tori Hunt, and Dreya Hunt, all of Yankton; his brothers, Justin Hunt and Travis Hunt of Yankton; his sisters, Tabitha Hunt of Huron, SD, Maria Millet of Atlanta, GA, and Elizabeth Millet of Port Charlotte, FL, his mother, Tammy Doles (Troy McHugh) of Yankton, and his father, Verlon Hunt of Sikeston, MO; and his paternal grandparents, David and Nancy Hunt of Sikeston, MO.
Gregory was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert Doles and Sandra Beardsley.
