I am so sorry to hear of Ron's passing on to Heaven. He was a very dedicated and caring man. My deepest and heartfelt sympathy to you Joyce, your children, grandchildren, family and friends. I am so sorry that distance prevents me from being their in person to express my condolences. May God watch over all of you and keep you in His care protected and loved. Aunt Joyce and cousins,
We are so sad to hear about Uncle Ron. He was always such a special uncle that had a very special place in our hearts. Our boys still remember visiting the farm so many years ago and how nice he was to them showing them around, letting them hold the chicks and bottle feed the calf. He took the time to make it special for them. I have so many treasured memories of our family vacations to Tabor for Czech Days and visiting with all of you. Please know that you and your families are all in our prayers during this difficult time.

Dear Joyce, Bonnie and other family members,
Prior to the last FCSLA convention I had the opportunity to meet with Ron and Joyce at the Embassy Suites when Dennis Povondra introduced us at the Managers party. We all sat around and enjoyed this event together as you both had arrived earlier by car for committee meetings. I was shocked when I received the announcement of Ron’s passing. He was such a kind, funny and friendly man with so much to offer to his commitment to the FCSLA.. I will keep you all in my prayers as this will be the most difficult time for all of the family. Joyce and Family,
We are so very sorry to hear about Ron. He was such a wonderful guy and always great to share some laughs with. I always enjoyed talking with him at Catholic Workman events, farm shows, Czech Days and church bazaars. I’m very thankful I got to see him two weekends ago. May the Lord be with you and give you strength and peace in the coming days.

Ron was a wonderful person inside and out. He was my relative through my Dad, on the Novotny side. He was also a year ahead of me at Tabor High School. I got to know him the best as a member of the FCSLA. He was a great member of that organization, and a wonderful insurance agent of that Branch, #93, in Tabor, S.D.. He has done a great deal of work for the Fraternal Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, (FCSLA). He certainly will be missed by his fellow Branch members, relatives, friends, and all of Tabor, S.D., and surrounding area. Yes, he loved to farm, and his parents were very proud of him that he took over the family farm. I know this, because his parents and my parents used to get together to play cards. Bob & Lillian always remarked about Ron's interest in farming, and the love of his life, which is Joyce. Also, we could see his love for his Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren, at the Branch parties in Tabor. Ron was truly a, " One in a Million!. "A Great Guy!" Our Deepest Sympathy to Joyce, the whole family, and the family he will always be a part of around Tabor, South Dakota. May Jesus Christ be with the Family during this difficult time in their lives.
