Obituary of Marceda Jones
Marceda L. Jones, age 96 of Yankton, SD passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her home in Yankton. Memorial service will be 10:30, Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Yankton with Rev. Jeff Otterman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Marceda L. Jones passed away in her home on October 30, 2023. She’s survived by 12 neices and nephews. Marceda will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, glorious attitude and colorful hats. She loved playing Bingo and traveling with her sister, Velma Weverstad, to College World Series baseball games. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Yankton, SD. A celebration of her life will take place on December 9, 2023 at 10:30am at Trinity Lutheran. Lunch will be served following the service.
