Dawn Marie Rouillard was born to Eddie and Alice Faye RedOwl-Rouillard on December 31st, 1963 in Sioux City, IA. Dawn lived in Sioux City all her life. She moved to Yankton, SD 4 years ago. She also lived in Santee for a short period of time. She worked at WinnaVegas Casino Resort for 7 years where she was a supervisor before she moved to Yankton.  During the time she lived in Yankton she raised her two granddaughters, Sativa and Lyrika (Mae-Mae) who she really loved and cherished.

Dawn was a very loving, caring, outgoing person. She was willing to help anyone with anything big or small, it didn't matter. She was always telling jokes and making people laugh. Her sisters called her “No filter Dawn”. She enjoyed going to the casino, which she always had luck at. She also really loved spending time with her granddaughters and taking walks. Dawn liked spending time with her friends in Sioux City.

Dawn has the best personality and will remain in our hearts always and forever. She is very much loved and will be greatly missed. Dawn is preceded in death by her father Eddie Rouillard, her 3 sisters; Rhonda, Sheila, and Melanie “Birdie” Rouillard; grandfather Antoine Rouillard; grandmothers Mildred Denny and Ada Johnson-RedOwl, and many aunts, uncles, and nephews.
