I always enjoyed talking to Gary. Even while on bus duty after school, I would jump in his bus making time enough for a few laughs. He will be sorely missed. I pray for Gary's repose and sympathy to Marilyn and her family.

Marilyn, My sympathy to you and your family for your loss of Gary. You may remember that we were neighbors early in my life and we both attended rural school Roosevelt #28 before your family moved to another farm southwest of Tabor. I think I was in the first grade. I remember your older sister Kathy helping me buckle my suspenders during a Christmas program we had at the school. Blessings to you and your family and may Gary now rest in peace within his heavenly rewards.

Cindy and I are so sorry to hear of the loss of Gary.
We recall meeting Gary at the time of Kevin and Sarah Luebke's wedding. We remember Gary as very outgoing and welcoming to us. Karen has talked of Gary many times over the years. Again our condolences and may strong and wonderful memories ease you through this time.

Get ready, set, GO. Proof that Gary and I rode “bikes“ way before Harley came along. Thanks Gary for all the great memories that last a lifetime. RIP.

I don't even know where to begin. My mom, Diane (Kloucek) Fuks told me of Gary's passing. My heart almost laughed.... as are the angels. Is God and Jesus ready for his humor and quick wit?! My heart also cried at the same time. I have so many fond memories of Gary 40 years ago. Tabor. Catechism. Tabor, South Dakota. Every Wednesday for many years. He always picked on me at Stan's (Woods) Station. All in good humor! What I wouldn't give to have a half hour of his jokes!!! My prayers for peace and comfort for his family. His memory will live on and and his laughter will never end. God Speed, Kiddo!

Sunday morning early comes
This sweltering summer’s day;
Chrome and coffee polished off
As bike and rider wake,
And rumble off to clubhouse for
A changing of the brew;
Black vests in formation–fast
and tight–a loud tribute.
Iron horses, hundreds strong,
Come thund’ring through the gate;
Sleeping souls on notice, fallen
Biker nears his fate.
A mile of gleaming metal lines
The circle and the park;
Out of saddles, boots hit brick
And make for chapel’s heart.
Members of the Club stand post,
Proud brothers in the wind;
Shaded eyes the tears disguise,
And loss they feel within.
Friends and family pay respects
To biker and his mate;
Praises made and prayers raised,
Blues legends resonate.
Final words and kisses, then
The pipes’ Amazing Grace;
Souls of bike and rider seek
Eternal resting place.
Sunday morning early comes
This sweltering summer’s day;
One more rider, Heaven bound,
Roars through the Pearly Gates
Flowers, no. Plant a tree, maybe… To honor the memory of my Uncle Gary I think come the first signs of spring I’m going to dust off my motorcycle and go for a nice long ride through the countryside.
Kevin

To the Sestak Family: We want to express our Deepest Sympathy. Gary was quite the guy, full of jokes, and teasing. He came from a wonderful family, and married a wonderful woman. He was my classmate in high school, and also my cousin. He loved his Harley Davidson, and touring the countryside. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace, Gary.
