WAGGONER ALVIDA
Alvida E. Waggoner, age 91 of Corsica, SD and formerly of Yankton, SD passed away early Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Society, Corsica, SD. At Alvida’s request no services will be held. Burial will take place at Black Hills National Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be sent at www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com. Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
Alvida (Carsten) Waggoner was born October 25, 1932, in Bonesteel, SD, to William and Clara (Glynn) Carsten.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elton Waggoner; brothers Lionel Carsten, Perry (Betty) Carsten, Guy (Esther) Carsten, Frank (Ceny) Carsten; and granddaughter Mikayla Waggoner.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Waggoner, Rocky (Mary Jo) Waggoner, and Howard Waggoner; grandson Moses Waggoner; great granddaughter Nikita Simpson.
