Carol Jean Kloucek, 76, of Tabor, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Avera Sacred Heart Majestic Bluffs Hospice House in Yankton. Visitation will be Sunday November 24, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 pm with a 7:00 pm Wake and Rosary Service at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Tabor. Mass Of Christian Burial will 10:30 am, Monday November 25, 2024, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Tabor with Fr. Darin Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Tabor. Online condolences may be sent at www.opsahl-kostelfuneralhome.com.
Carol was born near Crofton, NE on her Grandfather Kohles’ farm in 1948 to Bernard and Lorene Ausdemore. Carol attended school in Crofton and graduated in 1966.
She met the love of her life in 1977, David T. Kloucek.
When Carol’s health started to decline in 2018 David took care of her every single day until her death. Dave and Carol are a true testimony of unconditional love.
Carol leaves behind her husband David Kloucek. Daughter Kerri (Dustin)Konechne, Son Kent Kool, Daughter Megan (Shawn) Campbell.
Grandchildren: Tyrel (Brittany) Kool, Paul Konechne, Katlynn Kool, Emily Kool, Eli, Liam Eva and Ivy Campbell. Great Granddaughter Collins Kool.
Siblings: Joyce (Mel) Baumert, Mary (Glen) Loecker, Kathie (John) Brower, Paulette (Don) Kuhlman, Jan (Barb) Ausdemore, Diane Samuel. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved sons David Jr. and Joseph, her parents Bernard and Lorene Ausdemore Sister Julie Kramer, Nephew Luke Ausdemore Sister in law Lori Kloucek, father and mother-in-law Thomas and Ann Marie Kloucek.
Carol will always be remembered for her remaining strong, kind and faith filled despite the tragedies she faced through her time here on earth.
Carol was a member of St. Wenceslaus, Altar Society, Kortan-Hatwan Legion Auxiliary for 45 years.
