Brenen Frasch, age 14, of Tabor, SD passed away unexpectedly at his home in Tabor, SD on January 1, 2016. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Butte, NE with Rev. Douglas Scheinost officiating. Burial will be in the Butte Cemetery, Butte, NE. Visitations will begin at 5:00 PM, Friday, January 8, 2016 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Tabor, SD with a Wake service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Steven Jones officiating. Visitations will resume one hour prior to the service at the church in Butte, NE. The Opsahl-Kostel Memorial Chapel, Tabor, SD is assisting with the service details.
Brenen Ryan Frasch, son of Jeff & Kim Frasch was born on May 18, 2001, in Yankton, SD. He was sent home to the angels on January 1, 2016. He was baptized in Fairfax, SD. He resided in Yankton, SD until 2008 and moved to Tabor, SD from 2008 until his passing.
Brenen was an easy-going, goofy, high-spirited kid. He loved hanging out with his friends and family and always tried to make everyone laugh. He was a ray of sunshine. He absolutely loved teaching his cousins and younger siblings new things and loved sharing with them. He also loved pets and helping people out.
Brenen loved riding dirt bikes, driving anything, riding 4-wheelers, mudding, snow-bogging, sledding, hunting, camping, fishing, swimming, working on vehicles, listening to music, hanging out with a group of friends/family, and taking tons of photos and videos. He was always ready to try something new and would do almost anything to get people to laugh!
He is survived by his great grandpa, Art Frasch; grandparents, Vernon & Lorna Frasch and Joann Scholz; father, Jeff Frasch; brothers: Dillon Frasch, Conner Frasch and Haiden Frasch; sisters, Breauna Martinez and Shaelyn Martinez; aunts: Rebecca Scholz, Melissa Peck, Pam Johnson, Michelle Winsett, Jeanette Scholz, Stacy McNear, Andrea Frasch, Kathy Neal, Laura Bobzien, Jennifer Zatloukal, and Laura Heart; uncles: Tim Ruhkamp, Alvin Peck, Rick Johnson, Pat McNear, Gene Frasch, Jerry Frasch, Bruce Scholz and Joe Weispfennig and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Elsie Frasch, Lorence Remter, Minnie Remter, Marie Layh, and Bill Layh; grandpa Norman Scholz; mother, Kim Frasch; brother, Caleb Frasch and sister, Chelsea Frasch.
He will be greatly missed! He's flying high with the angels and watching over every one of us!
